So Renee took a drive on Friday to see if the concrete was being poured, well she was 24hrs too late as it had been done a day ahead of schedule and had been laid on Thursday! Luckily the weather was great all weekend so gave it time to set before framing started on Monday. James took a drive to see what had gone up and nearly the first floor has been finished! He spoke with the framers on site and they said that the upstairs should be complete by the end of the week. If they keep it up we'll be in in a few weeks (OK a slight exaggeration, but feels like it!).

ReplyDeleteThat's the scary thing about Carlisle...you probably WILL be in by the end of next month! It goes so quickly once the slab is down.
