I went around to the site today and found the brickwork going up. Things are still rattling along at a hectic pace and I don't think it'll be long until we get the lock up claim from the builder now. Inside there's been lots going on too...
The guys that put in the smart wiring and home theater wiring were there today. Since that is one of the most important aspects of the house from my perspective, it was nice to meet them and I got a good feeling about their knowledge and they seemed to be doing a good job with what they'd done so far.
Also on the interior, most if not all of the plumbing work seems to be in place and there's electrical wiring everywhere for lights and power.
Our site supervisor told us that the plastering would start next week, and that certainly seems to be the case based on the amount of plasterboard that was around.
Overall, I'm very impressed with how everything is progressing so far.

ReplyDeleteQuick Q for you: was the Garage external wall wrapped ? I am kinda having an issue where they bricked the external garage wall without wrapping it :(
Based on the photo, yes the external wall of the garage was/is wrapped in our case.
